Zoning Strikeforce -
Fairfax County Code Enforcement

If you attended the February meeting you heard Rob Stalzer of the Strike Team speak about his group and what an impact they are making in neighborhoods across Fairfax County. With the impending budget cuts we could loose Mr. Stalzer and his team. Please contact the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and tell them to continue to fund the Strike Force for the health and safety of our neighborhoods.

You can file a zoning or code violation here.

Here is one letter already sent to the board, you may copy and paste this to an email to the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, or use the following link to voice your concerns using the Fairfax County Web Site Constituent Feedback Form.

Ladies & Gentlemen,

I am a resident of the Brookfield sub division in Chantilly VA, and I am writing to you in regard to an urgent matter.

While we realize the ramifications of the budget shortfall, in ongoing budget planning, I want to strongly urge you to support continued funding for the Strike teams, and for the Consolidated Code Enforcement with Centralized Intake planing 2008 and 2009.

For the first time, in a very long time, progress is being made in retrieving quality of life, protecting the integrity of neighborhoods, and protecting property values thru "a sustainable highly effective code enforcement system", here in Brookfield and thruout Fairfax County.

Brookfield, a community, of 900+ homes, provides close to 3 million dollars a year in real estate tax revenue to Fairfax County, and we cannot think of a better investment than the new and improved strike force concept. Our Civic Association is hard at work to improve the community, and strike force support is an integral part of that effort.

Thank you for your continued support of this extremely important issue.

Regards,

Brookfield Resident
